Ms. Nora, a woman residing in Yellow Springs, Ohio, is the owner and operator of a fabulous dining spot called "her home". Crazy right? Well it isn't actually called her home but it is her home where you can dine at. In one section of her home is a buffet where you're welcomed to great breakfast and lunch items as well as delectable desserts. In another part of her home is the dining area where you can order breakfast prepared how you want it. There's a lot to choose from and boy is it delicious. Everything is homemade and made from scratch. The catchy part...there's no cost, just a vase in the kitchen where you place tips in. For all her hard work and great service you're going to want to leave a tip. (It's also recommended that you do.)
Nora's
The overall appearance was very clean and neat to be an actual home rather a restaurant setting. It doesn't really seat too many people, but she opens many parts of her home to set and dine in. Each table is set with salt and pepper shakers, candles to play out the perfect setting to eat, table cloths, and other items to top off whatever food you're eating. Menus are placed about and there's an area where you place your used dishes at. (Majority of the time a server is picking up your dishes.) For the buffet, plates are placed about so everyone has access to clean dishes and clean cutlery. Each dish on the buffet is equipped with the right cutlery for everyone to get clean scoops of any food. More food is in constant rotation so new and clean dishes are as well.
There are many tea and coffee urns about for the coffee lovers and clean water as well. Since many electric appliances are working at once, the fuse did blow but that didn't stop the operation and food was still being prepared. Great service with kind and friendly people all around. The atmosphere was wonderful and it's a place to visit often. Overall Nora gets an A for her business I'd recommend her home cooking to anyone looking for a great meal.
